Healthy Eating Plate vs. Choose My Plate

There USDA has replaced the Food Pyramid with the Choose MyPlate icon. Notice that half the plate is Fruits and Vegetables. Harvard came along with their own version, The Healthy Eating Plate. They substituted dairy with water and make it clear that grains should be whole grains. Harvard also includes a small “running figure” and oil as components to overall health.
