Success Takes Perspiration and Inspiration
Success, in Life and Athletics, takes much Inspiration and Perspiration. It is an Olympic year, and it is the time for graduates moving on to the next phase of their life. Good luck, as well as good work, to all.
Inspired that anybody can do these workout drills(I don’t care how much rest time he had), and perspiration for the sweat balls he was blowing off his nose.
Inspirational Commencement talks are frequent at this time of year with kids leaving school and entering the next phase of life and learning.
Coach Wooden is the Ultimate when it comes to Inspiring Success. He says it is about character building. Not winning or losing.
” You can lose when you out score somebody in a game. And you can win when you’re outscored.” –John Wooden
“The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses, behind the lines, in the gym, out there on the road, long before I dance under the lights”- Muhammad Ali
Thus Paavo Nuurmi, perhaps the greatest distance runner of all time since he won nine gold and three silver medals in the Olympic Games wrote that:
“Mind is everything. Muscles are pieces of rubber. All that I am, I am because of my mind.”
